The staff at Stix `N Things has over 20 years experience in selling home furnishings. The products that we feature on our web site are obtained from leading importers that have extensive quality control measures in place from the overseas factories that actually manufacture the products. This ensures that you will receive a quality product free of any defects in workmanship and furniture that will give you many years of enjoyment.

What is your free shipping policy? What are your shipping rates?
Our pricing includes shipping costs to your residence within the continental U.S. on orders of $500 or greater. If you provide us with a commercial shipping address you will receive a $50 credit to your order. Orders will be shipped via motor carriers such as Fedex Freight, FedEx Ground, UPS, or other carriers selected by us. This free shipping provides curb-side delivery only that does not include unpacking or installation. Surcharges may apply to the following counties in Washington state: Jefferson, Kitsap, Island, Clallam, Skagit, San Juan, and Whatcom and also to counties in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. You may call us for details. Additional delivery options may be available for an extra charge. Please contact us if you need information about additional delivery options. Free shipping applies to all lamp orders. All orders ship free promotions may not apply to certain areas, place your orders and we will notify you if there will be a shipping sur-charge. This mostly applies to remote or rural locations.
How long will it be before I receive my order?
Upon receipt of your order we will notify you as to when your order is scheduled to ship and with what freight carrier. Most orders ship within 2 to 5 business days and depending on what state you are located in, will arrive within 1 to 2 weeks. If any of the items you order are not available for quick shipment, we will notify you of the expected shipping date.
Receipt and inspection of your shipment.
We ask that you carefully inspect the condition of your shipment at the time of delivery and prior to signing the delivery receipt. If you note any visible damage to the box(es) please note that on the delivery receipt. In this case, you should also open the damaged box(es) and see if there is actual damage to the item(s) inside. If the contents are damaged, refuse the shipment and notify us by calling toll free 866-464-STIX (7849) or e-mail us at Customerservice@Stixnthings.com.
Will I have to pay sales tax?
Orders shipped outside of Florida are not subject to sales tax. Orders shipped within Florida are subject to the general sales tax rate of 6% plus the applicable county surtax levied by the county to where your furniture will be shipped.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. You can submit payment through PayPal's secure payment system using Secure Sockets Layering (SSL) which encrypts your credit card information before it travels over the internet. Otherwise, you can call our toll free number and provide us with the information over the phone. In addition to your credit card number we will require the name on your card, billing address, and telephone number.
Your purchase enters our order system within 30 minutes of you placing your order. You may cancel your order no later than 5 P.M. Eastern Time on the same day the order was placed. If your order is placed after 5 P.M., then you have until noon of the following business day to cancel. The cancellation may be done by telephone or by e-mail.
We are confident that you will be completely satisfied with the merchandise we ship to you. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, it must be returned to us in the original packaging on a "freight prepaid" basis within 30 days of when you receive your order. We will credit your credit card account less the original shipping charges that we paid to ship the order to you. This means that shipping charges are non-refundable and in the case of a return you would be responsible for the charges in both directions. Returns shipped back to us on a C.O.D. basis will not be accepted. Please contact us in the event you plan to return your order for proper authorization. A re-stocking fee may also apply of up to 20%.
Stix `N Things does not rent or sell customer information to outside marketers. We may require certain information such as your name, credit card number, expiration date, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, and e-mail address. This information is only shared with the financial institutions used in the processing of your payment. It also allows us to provide you with the products you are purchasing, provide you superior service, communicate with you about your order, and to contact you in the future about any special offers that may be of interest to you.
Headboards and Mirrors
Can a headboard or mirror be ordered by itself?
In most cases we cannot ship a single headboard or mirror due to the risk of damage. There are exceptions to this, so please call us and inquire.
Do special discounts apply to sales merchandise?
Special discounts whether a percentage or dollar amount may not be applied to items that are already sale priced.

In no event shall Stix N Things or its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, subsidiaries, distributors, affiliates or third parties providing information on this site be liable to any user of the site or any other person or entity for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, consequential or exemplary damages (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of use)arising out of the use or inability to use the site or any information contained thereon, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or otherwise, even if Stix N Things has been advised of or should have known of the possibility of such damages or losses.
Will my item look exactly as pictured?
Stix 'N' Things makes every effort to provide quality images of furniture, fabric, and accessories to assist you in your purchase. However, images may vary in color depending on your monitor and lighting. Much of our furniture is constructed of natural materials and hand finished which means there can be some variance from the pictures. Also, fabrics are subject to slight color variations due to dye lots not always being identical at the time of weaving. We will not be responsible for color variations and all returns will be subject to our return policies and fees. If precise colors are critical to your order, we suggest you contact us by telephone or e-mail so that we may further assist you.
